Heaven or Las Vegas?

I would apologize for the lack of action on this here blog, but man have we been busy. Doing what?

Writing TONS of new music. We are really sad because we miss Michal (who I hope you have sent positive energy to- she needs it!) but getting a completely new set ready for South by Southwest has provided quite a challenge and distraction for us.

We have also been having a great time playing with our original drummer, Jesse.

The new songs are totally different than our older stuff. Inspiration?

Measuring Your Own Grave

Marlene Dumas has an amazing exhibit, Measuring Your Own Grave, up at the MOMA until February 16.

Go see it before it leaves New York! We loved it so much that we went back for seconds. Her paintings are dark and haunting, sexual and morbid. In other words, a-mazing.

RIP Lux Interior

QXBXRX: Happy Terrible Two's!!

Our good friends who throw the monthly fiesta QXBXRX will be having a rather epic 2 year anniversary party this coming Saturday night. We are very excited to be part of the big night and even more stoked because we get to share a stage with our friends Love or Perish , Ruffian Arms, and Mkng Frndz.

This show will be particularly interesting for Holy Hail because we are in the midst of a transitional period and will have our friend and original drummer Jesse on stage with us. Also very tragically, Michally is dealing with a pretty severe arm injury right now and will not be able to play the show with us. Keep her in your thoughts... we want our girl to get better!

Come down if you can. And stay tuned... we have big plans for the month of March!
