We can't wait to go down and play this insane party with Brooklyn Vegan, No Age, and the one and only GZA (?!!!) judging 8 bands who made it to the finals.


So if you are into free stuff like bbq and beer and music and parties, come! Also, we need everyone we've ever known who finds themselves in Austin that week to show up and make as much noise as possible. Because, duh- who doesn't want an extra $10K to squander on recording a new album and going on tour or something? Right?

Obsession: Tehching Hsieh

I don't even know where to begin withTehching Hsieh. His art career started with an inspirational boom with his five consecutive "One Year Performances" from 1978 to 1983. He followed that up with his "Thirteen Year Performance."


His work is shocking and anxiety inducing. A truly radical artist... Whoa.
